Beauty really comes from with in, but every now and then a little extra doesn't hurt.
The skin, hair & nails form part of the integumentary system, which is only a few millimeters thick and is the largest organ of the body. Thus taking care of it, is extremely important. The skin is ultra absorbent and often very sensitive.
The following products are organic, cruelty free & sulphate free.
1) Medik8: A UK based company and their products are fabulous. I've been using a range of them over the last year. Recommended for skin which suffers from inflammation.
Clarifying foam: clean, clean, clean skin! the formula combines twin hydroxy-acids, & also gently hydrates the skin. It's also very foamy and you only need one pump!
Vitamin A & Retinol: Apparently everyone know about retinol cream, I'm new to the game! The best for anti-age, reduce the visibility of fine lines & wrinkles. It works by increasing the production of collagen & by stimulating the production of new blood vessels in the skin, improving skin color. The product is very strong and should be introduced to the skin slowly.
Blemish SOS: Just a little something extra for those awesome pimples on the face, the product uses a little bit of acid. Which dries out the pimples.
Should always be used with sunscreen!
2) Farm to Fresh: LOVE this product! Super cheap & based in Spain. I don't know if it's availble to buy in SA. But I just love it. The proof is in the name. Everything smells so yummy and clean!
The Day & night super serum, I use whenever. I mostly apply the serum to the neck as I don't wan to use the other expensive face creams. It absorbs in to the skin nicely & helps with dehydrated skin.
The Gel the milk scrub is heaven!!!! I love it, the grains are very small, it doesn't irritate the skin compared to bulky grainy scrubs. The honey smell is everything. I used this 1 / 2 times a week.
And the sponge:
It's a natural sea sponge, great for everyday use & full body exfoliation.
3) Pump: An Aussie company with a wide range of cruelty free, organic haircare products. For blonds & curly hair & itchy sculpt, etc.
I chose the Hair Growth range, with shampoo, conditioner & mask! The products itself are amazing. The smell of the hair growth mask is everything, so addictive. The results whether the products actually made my hair grow are still inconclusive. I will write a little more once I can confidently say my hair has grown.
